Dr. Heather’s private practice in Burnsville focuses on pediatric developmental and behavioral disorders in children. She enjoys helping children be more successful at home, in school, and in the community through a strength-based approach that nurtures each child's unique needs and facilitates necessary skill development.
Dr. Heather competed her doctorate degree at Minnesota School of Professional Psychology and completed additional training at Washburn Center for Children. Professionally, she has worked in a specialty multidisciplinary pediatric clinic and conducted team evaluations with Developmental/Behavioral Pediatricians, Speech/Language Pathologists, and Neuropsychologists. She also is a former adjunct faculty member at St. Mary's University, Twin Cities in the Counseling Psychology Doctorate Program.

Comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessment referrals for children ages 4-11 years of age for concerns related to ADHD, Anxiety, Developmental Delays and Autism Spectrum Disorders only. In network with UHC/UBH and Medica only. No out of network claim submission. Fee for service direct payment is available. Payment plans are not available.

Crisis Services and Intensive Care Needs
Please note that I cannot provide intensive treatment, crisis services or return emergency calls as a part-time independent practitioner .
If you anticipate needing more intensive services for your child, you should consider obtaining care from a clinic that can provide comprehensive services. I can help you make this decision based on information you provide about your child’s behavior and history during a phone consult.
In the event of a mental health emergency, contact the mental health crisis line for your county or take your child to the nearest emergency room for evaluation.
